Issue
Users may receive the message: “You have entered an invalid access code” when entering their 800 Access PIN.
Steps to Duplicate
- Dial the Network Access Number (NAN)
- When prompted, enter the PIN (typically a 6-digit code)
- Press pound (#)
- Message received at this point
Possible Causes
If the NAN and PIN are confirmed to be correct, this issue can occur under the following conditions:
- Calling from a mobile device with poor cellular reception.
- Using Wi-Fi Calling on a mobile device.
- Being connected to a wireless network while attempting to log in.
Troubleshooting Steps
Follow these steps to resolve the issue. After each step, confirm whether the problem persists:
- Check with other users in your organization to see if they are experiencing the same issue.
- Verify the NAN and PIN:
- Contact your administrator or Gryphon AI Support to confirm these numbers.
- If calling from a mobile device:
- Ensure you have strong cellular reception.
- Toggle Wi-Fi Calling on or off.
- If connected to Wi-Fi, try disabling Wi-Fi and using cellular data only.
- If NAN and PIN are stored for auto-dialing, try manually dialing the number and entering the PIN.
- Test using a different phone to rule out device-specific issues.
- If the NAN and PIN are programmed into the phone to automate dialing, try manually dialing and entering the PIN
- Test with a different phone
