Using Gryphon Search to Certify Email Lists

Overview

The Gryphon ONE Client Portal provides a streamlined way to certify email addresses against Do-Not-Contact (DNC) lists and company specific internal lists. Gryphon Search - Email allows administrators to quickly verify, add, or remove emails from these lists, providing visibility into compliance status and internal records.

NOTE

To use Gryphon Search - Email addresses, you must have an Administrator account to log into the Gryphon ONE Client Portal.

 

Navigating and Using Gryphon Search - Email

Using the top utility bar, hover over the Gryphon Search option, and select Email to access the email certification tool.

On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see a dropdown menu with the Certify option selected by default. The right-hand side will show all of the available options and their definitions:

Certify

Certify up to 500 email entries at a time. Results will indicate which list the email resides on. Only Client Administrators can remove entries from internal lists.

Add Opt-Out

Add up to 200 email addresses to your company specific internal do-not-contact list.

Remove Opt-Out

Remove up to 200 email addresses from your company specific internal do-not-contact list.

Add Exemption

Add up to 200 email addresses to your company specific exemption list.

Remove Exemption

Remove up to 200 email addresses from your company specific exemption list.

View History

View add/remove and certification activity for a specific email address.

Add/Remove Activity

Audit history of entries you have added or removed on your company specific lists during a given time period.

Certifications

Audit history of certifications and results that you performed during a given time period.

To use Gryphon Search - Email:

1. Select the Option that fits your needs from the dropdown menu.
2. Choose the Country from the dropdown.
3. Select the Campaign (note this will not display in some accounts).
4. Enter one or more email addresses in the text box or paste a list.
5. Click Submit.

Tip

If you are submitting multiple email addresses, please place each email on a new line.

 

Understanding the Output

Once submitted, the tool will process the email addresses. For Certify actions, results will display which lists, if any, the emails reside on. Color coding will indicate status: 

• Red for addresses flagged on DNC lists.
• Green for addresses cleared for contact.

For other actions (Add/Remove Opt-Out, Add/Remove Exemption), confirmation messages will indicate whether the emails were successfully added or removed from company specific lists.

Keep in Mind

• Gryphon Search results are real-time but can change frequently. Check emails regularly to ensure compliance.
• Only Client Administrators can remove entries from internal company specific DNC lists.
